Hiring? Looking? Let's meet up!

With all the great topics and speakers on the agenda it's easy to forget about our day jobs...at least until we log into our webmail clients at 3am and see all the work piling up back at the office.
So why not look for some help? If there are any other hiring managers, potential candidates (feel free to use an alias if you boss is snooping), or other interested parties, let me know if you'd like to get together for an informal mixer. I'll be happy to arrange a time and place, though suggestions from locals are welcome.
(I apologize if such an event is already in the works and I "missed the memo".)
Fit Associates is keeping its eye open for Very Special People [smile] who might work with us on contracts, or eventually work with us full time. We'd attend a mixer if it works out, or otherwise we're happy to be approached in the halls and beer stands.
I'll be networking for interaction design jobs that I can use to build up a design portfolio and broaden my skills. I like to do user-centered design in information-intensive environments.
I think I'll also put a post on the IxDA discussion list about this to see if we can generate more interest. Regardless, it will be great to meet you both and talk shop.
I'm always looking for opportunities for my students, either internships or after-graduation jobs. Also, I'd love to bring small but real design projects into the HCI/Interaction Design class I teach every year, if that fits anyone's model.
I'd be happy to talk to you about all three. I'll be trying to schedule a time and place for this mixer early next week, so stay tuned.

I just checked out the NY Times article on things to do in Savannah, and am intrigued by the Crystal Beer Parlor. I think I'll attend the opening reception until about 8:00, then head over there to "mix". If anyone wants to talk about looking, hiring, or just hoist some brew and listen to some dixieland, please join me.
