Interaction08 was a watershed event for the current generation of designers. People from all areas of the discipline converged and saw what they have in common: a serious interest in the purposeful exploration of alternatives that can lead to constructing practical solutions, a common set of experiences with human behavior, and a common literature of techniques for handling behaviors both of the users of the designs and of the teams who conceive and construct the designs.
