Anya Bethany Kogan:

Great conference! I have already told everyone I know that they MUST make it to the next one. Can you tell me if/where the slides will be available from the presentations? Thanks so much for everything!

John Monberg:

Thanks for organizing such a well run, information-rich, conference where people took ideas, but never themselves, seriously. And thanks for taking the time to chat about the skill set of the future for interaction design.

Matt Jones:

Great to meet you, and congratulations on Interaction08!

Amitava Sinharay:

David,
Would we have wireless internet connectivity at the venue?

Carrie Ritch:

Congratulations on the conference Dave! Can't wait!! Looking forward to catching up with you in Savannah! (ack! I need to upload a photo...)

Kim Bieler:

I'm hoping to meet up with other visual designers and/or entrepreneurs. I'm particularly interesting in comparing notes on wireframing/functionality --> design technology. Arriving on Friday -- just in time for happy hour!

Will Evans:

Hey man -
I set up a blog post for people wanting to get together Thursday afternoon - evening. Anyone is invited, toss out ideas in the comments to my blog entry. I don't mind organizing this F2F - but I want everyone to throw in some ideas.

Keith Instone:

Is there a handy dandy guide to local restaurants for conference attendees? I need to organize a Sunday night (Feb 10th) dinner for about 10 people. Want to leverage whatever has already been compiled. Thanks.

David Malouf:

hey! some tips:
1) I've noticed that people aren't seeing the blog posts below the comments area on the "Main" tab. scroll on down and take a look.

2) It is best to leave general states like "Anyone interested in X?" as a blog entry. Just go to "My Profile" and click on "add post" Then people can answer you as a blog comment.

3) best way to leave a comment for someone is to click on their name and leave the comment directly on their profile. This will alert them to the comment and it will be really clear who you are talking to. When doing a response, click on the person's image or name so that the comment goes back to them instead of back to you. (looks like you're just talking to yourself otherwise).

4) Yup, these are usability issues and Crowdvine knows. If anyone is interested in making suggestions, just look below to the thread where we are taking them. We'd love to hear THIS group's suggestions on how to make crowdvine better for IxDA.

Whitney Hess:

Morning. I don't think the CrowdVine schedule is up-to-date. For instance, I can't find David Armano's session on Saturday. Sorry if someone has mentioned this earlier.

Dante Murphy:

Dave, is there still any room in the pre-conference workshops? I need to know soon so I can finalize travel plans. I'm interested in the Effect Maps and Agile sessions.

Dane Storrusten:

Dave, I will look into it. We have alot of Surface units spread out at other events now and in the coming month but I'll see what I can do for this year ;) Next year for sure!

Dane Storrusten:

Hey Dave! If I could actually get a table there I would, next time!Wwhat you've done with IXDA is awesome. I would love to sit down and talk about all of your varios projects as well!

Rick Cecil:

Amazing, Dave. Absolutely amazing what you've done with IxDA. Your perseverance, commitment, and dedication have made this happen. And, I'm totally excited about finally meeting face-to-face. :-)

john payne:

Dave, Thanks! wouldn't miss it...

Pauric:

But then... who's going to tell everyone what to do? Smells like a recipe for disaster if you ask me.

Cindy Chastain:

Hey Dave. Thanks for putting up the post...got swept up in holiday obligations. Sounds like there's a good amount of interest!

Cindy Chastain:

Great idea. "Calling all who dare/have dared to write a book." Maybe an impromptu breakfast forum? (Or at 3am when we're up at night, fretting about what to write---though it's difficult to plan for those occasions.)

Cindy Chastain:

Hi David! We met for about two seconds at the recent UX Holiday Party at Eight Mile Creek. Hope we get a chance to chat at the conference.

David Malouf:

Livia, We were really excited to have found Crowdvine. I understand that Richard Dalton is planning on using them for the IA Summit as well. After going to IDSA where there was NO pre-conference or during conference social networking, I'm pretty hyped on making sure there is a lot in the IPsphere going on with this conference. Crowdvine is just the beginning.

Livia Labate:

I'm super impressed by the conference organization - kudos. And crowdvine implementation is super too (so far, most interesting looking pre-conference connecting after Upcoming)

Liu Wei:

Looking forward to meeting you :-)

Kevin Silver:

i was beyond anxious... i'm glad i got it done! looking forward to seeing ya again and hanging as well!

Tony Stubblebine:

Dave, good suggestions. I'm going to start rolling them out this morning. Might be a little rough at first, but should smooth over.

liya zheng:

Cute baby!

Elizabeth Bacon:

You rock the house, Dave! Keep up the fantastic energy...you're really taking us places.
