Dan, it was great to meet you on the weekend, hopefully we can chat again at another event soon!
Hey Dan - I've been a fan since I read about the Charmr - actually hooked you all with the St. Louis Science center who is featuring the Charmr design in a new User-Centered design exhibit (hooray - UCD for the public!). Hope to meet you at the convention! Lois
Hi Dan - I was a student of your's at CMU (VID Fall 04)! I'm an interaction designer now too and just wanted to say hi. I had hoped to go to Interaction 08, but unfortunately I was too late. Maybe next year! Congratulations on your book :)
Yeah! I want to meet you too. We can work on the drinking problem ;-)
I'm going to the LGTF dinner on Friday. Are you going too?
Congratulations on the conference Dan! Looking forward to catching up with you in Savannah!
We've briefly met, but I would like to get to know you better!!
oops, i seem to have two profiles here: one you guys made and one i made. can i conflate the two of them?
interaction08 [at] ixda [dot] org is the email address for the conference.
There are many hotels within walking distance of the conference. You'll want hotels in the Historic District. The Thunderbird Inn is reasonable and funky. More traditional is The Promenade.
Is there an email contact if we have questions for the conference? I couldn't find one on the Interaction08 website.
It's mainly about lodging recommendations, ideally I'm looking for a cheaper option you would recommend for student participants. I would be interested in saving a bit, but necessarily if it's far off and not convenient for the conference's activities.
Thanks in advance,
/Camille
