About: Bruce Esrig is a content hound, interested in structure, data, and by the way, how people interact with information.
Since October, he's been contracting in interaction design in a most wonderful user experience group (at a popular online discount brokerage). If all goes well, he'll soon take a leading role doing information design and interaction design at a consortium that works on how to make information about library collections available.
He's also volunteering as speaker liason for the conference.
Why IxD: Interaction design integrates approaches to expressing meaning. Aligning goals and cognitive models among people and the environments they engage with is a thrilling enabler, a means of spanning the gap between thought and action.

Thanks for the great conversation on Saturday, and all the assistance up to and through the event!
Looking forward to meeting, either at the Looking/Hiring mixer or informally. How close is Madison NJ to Philly?
