About: I am a reformed Faulkner scholar now Founding Chair of an interdisciplinary I.T. program designed for liberal arts students. Our major has emphases in the areas of new media technologies, data discovery, and information systems. Our students can read critically, reason intelligently, write coherently, think historically, and solve any problem you throw at them. Needless to say (for this audience) we think interaction design knowledge is central to taking a leadership role in the area of information technology.
